What is underfloor heating is where the heat to heat your home comes from under your floor covering e.g tiles, wooden floor and or carpet. There are 2 types of underfloor heating electric and water underfloor heating. Advanced Green energy specialise in water underfloor heating, electric is known to be expensive to run be inefficient and not environmentally friendly but generally cheaper to install where water underfloor heating is more expensive to install but cheaper to run.

Underfloor heating is best to be installed at development stage, although there are many systems on the market for retro-fitting. Retro-fitting can be labour intensive and sometimes cause upheaval but well worth it.
